RE: Evie Rothwell-Douglas Position: Midfield/Forward

To who it may concern,

I have had the pleasure of knowing Evie for quite some time, first at the Chelsea player development programme for several seasons and over the last 3 seasons where she has played for our club.

Evie is mainly an attacking midfielder, but can comfortably play any position across the middle. She has terrific pace and is happy to run at the opposition and commit them. Her ability to deliver a ball from the wing is good but is equally adept at coming inside and playing close quick passes. Going forward her pace is a huge asset and is comfortable breaking from midfield and does score on a regular basis. She also possesses good vision to pick a pass and distribute the ball.

Evie is a player who just loves to play football and she shows a never give up attitude giving 100% every single time she plays. She takes direction well and would be an asset to any team.

Name………Evie Rothwell-Douglas, Position……….Midfield/Forward, Time with club………3 years

Evie has played for Colne Valley for 3 seasons and is a valuable member of our squad.  She is a player who just loves to play football she shows a never give up attitude and gives 100% every single time she   plays. She is my captain and leads by example she is a great team player and gets on well with all her team mates. Her fitness is excellent and she puts a lot of effort into her training.

Evie mainly plays from midfield and can comfortably play any position across the middle. She has terrific pace which is excellent for wide play and is happy to run at the opposition and commit them. Her ability to deliver a ball from the wing is good but is equally adept at coming inside and playing close quick passing.

I would say her best position would be central, she can sit with discipline and dictate play in the middle of the pitch her tackling is good and she has excellent vision to pick a pass and distribute the ball. Going forward her pace is a huge asset and is comfortable breaking from midfield and does score on a regular basis. As a forward Evie plays well using her skill and pace. Her first touch is good and is very composed around the goal.

Evie is a great all round footballer she can read the play well so has good positioning and is always available and keen to get on the ball. Her understanding of the rules is good and she takes direction well. This player would be an asset to any team and works hard all the time and has an excellent attitude to all aspects of her game.
